Brain Drain

West Virginia is due for an economic reinvention.

Our children are the future. Unfortunately, many of our children end up leaving the state in order to make a living!

As a lifelong West Virginian who has worked her entire career in the state, Cindy knows how hard it is to find a job that will provide for your family. Just like her parents, Cindy and her husband, Mark, have been forced to think “outside the box” in order to continue to live and work in West Virginia.

West Virginia is due for an economic reinvention. We are tired of being at the bottom of all the good lists and at the top of the bad lists.

All West Virginians deserve good-paying jobs. Without them, our brightest minds are going elsewhere. We need to find a way for our kids to be able to stay here and pave the way for their children.

Population is dwindling; jobs are scarce. We have to do better. We need to make West Virginia a place that future generations can continue to call home.
